Small DC Wave Maker for Aquarium Nano Tanks

The hygger 042 Aquarium Wave Maker is designed to provide optimal, natural river/ocean-like currents for fish and coral in small to large aquariums. The continuous water circulation not only blows away fish waste and debris buildup on the gravel bed but also improves oxygenation in the water.

Available in two sizes, the wave maker can accommodate a wide range of aquarium volumes. The smaller model, measuring 2.2" x 2.6", has an adjustable power range from 2 to 10 watts and flow rates from 800 to 2100 gallons per hour (GPH), suitable for 30-75 gallon freshwater and saltwater aquariums. The larger model, measuring 2.6" x 3.3", has an adjustable power range from 8 to 18 watts and flow rates from 1500 to 3400 GPH, suitable for 75-200 gallon aquariums. For tanks over 200 gallons, it is recommended to use two sets of the wave maker kit to ensure complete water circulation.

The wave maker features a built-in, easy-to-set LCD display controller that allows you to customize the wave patterns for your aquatic pets and reef. With 6 wave modes, 1-20 flow rate options, and 1-99 seconds flow interval settings, you can create your preferred wave patterns, from constant flow and pulse waves to anti-sync pulse, sine, random, and reverse waves.

The wireless linking function enables you to pair multiple wave maker controllers, allowing you to designate one as the lead and the others as followers. This ensures synchronized operation, with the follower pumps automatically switching modes and entering feed timers when prompted by the lead controller. This feature is particularly useful for larger tanks over 200 gallons, where two wave maker systems can be placed on each side to complete the entire tank's circulation.

The wave maker also includes a feed mode that turns off the pump for 10 minutes during feeding time and a night mode that reduces the power level to 1 when the light sensor detects a dark environment, allowing fish and coral to rest.

Designed for quiet operation, the wave maker utilizes Sine Wave Technology and a powerful 4-blade impeller to create a broad, evenly distributed water flow. The wear-resistant ceramic shaft ensures compatibility with both coral reef and freshwater tanks, while the prefilter foam guard and slotted cover design protect fish and anemones from being sucked inside.

Installation is made easy with the strong magnetic mounting system, which is covered in rubber to prevent scratches on the tank glass. The wave maker can be positioned or moved anywhere in the aquarium, accommodating tank glass up to 15mm in thickness. The small powerhead pump is powered by a safe, low-voltage 24V DC power supply.
