It will cease heating when the water temperature reaches the set temperature, though the temperature may rise an additional 1°F due to residual heat. Once the water cools down 1°F below the set temperature, the heater will resume heating.

The heater tube and separate sensitive thermometer must remain fully submerged in water at all times. Before removing the heater or performing a water change, unplug the device and allow it to cool down.

The LED display controller shows the temperature in Fahrenheit degrees only.
