This heater features an IPX8 design and is non-detachable. Do not attempt to disassemble it, as this will damage the heater. The heater must be fully submerged under water before being plugged in. After unplugging the heater, wait at least 10 minutes before changing the water or removing it from the water. It is forbidden to take the heater out of the water immediately after unplugging it. Additionally, do not bury the heater under sand.
For even and thorough heat distribution in the tank, it is recommended to place the heater in an area with good water circulation. The aquarium temperature may fluctuate depending on the ambient room temperature, and it is normal to experience differences within ± 3°F. If the room temperature is below 60°F, you may need to choose a more powerful heater than the one recommended.
To avoid injury, do not touch the heating part of the heater directly. This 300W aquarium heater is recommended for 40 to 75 gallon fish tanks. The heater length is 11.5", and the power cord is 6ft long, with a voltage of 110V/60Hz.
The heater features an easy-to-access dial on the top, allowing for seamless adjustment of the water temperature from 65°F to 89°F. The red light automatically shuts off when the target temperature is reached, and the heater then maintains a constant temperature in your marine or freshwater aquarium.
